Asked before buying
Fair questions, straight answers.
I'm perimenopausal. Is this made for me?
Yes. It's formulated for exactly the sleep changes that arrive in your forties, fifties and sixties: harder to fall asleep, waking through the night, and waking unrefreshed. It supports sleep generally. It isn't a hormone treatment, and it won't touch hot flushes themselves.
Is this for falling asleep, or staying asleep?
Both. The formula is built for the whole night: settling into sleep in the first place, and holding onto it instead of surfacing at 3am. It supports the quality of the night overall, with more time in the deep and REM stages that actually restore you, rather than fixing one moment of it.
Will it knock me out or leave me groggy?
No. There's no melatonin and no sedative in it, so there's nothing to sleep off in the morning. It isn't a knockout pill and we won't pretend otherwise: because it improves the quality of your sleep rather than sedating you, you'll still wake if something needs you, whether that's a child calling out or the smoke alarm going off. What changes is the kind of sleep you get in between: more time in deep and REM stages, less of the light, restless sleep that leaves you feeling like you were barely under.
What exactly is in it?
Six active ingredients: glycine, magnesium glycinate, magnesium citrate (two separate forms of magnesium), ashwagandha, reishi, and blue chamomile with apigenin. Every form and every milligram is printed on the front of the jar, so you or your pharmacist can judge it in one glance. No melatonin, no added sugar, no maltodextrin.
When do I take it, and how much?
Two 5g scoops (10g in total) in about 100ml of cold water, 30 to 60 minutes before bed. Shake, drink, done. Water only, no milk, and nothing to heat or boil. Like a gym session or a collagen routine, one night won't tell you much: it's the consistent nightly habit that builds the benefit.
Why is there no melatonin in it?
Melatonin supplements hand your body melatonin from outside, which can suppress its own production over time. We took the opposite approach: ingredients that support your body making its own, so the sleep you get is yours rather than borrowed. It also means there's nothing to leave you groggy the next morning.
I've tried magnesium before and it did nothing. Why would this be different?
Usually it isn't the magnesium that failed, it's the form and the dose. A typical tablet carries one form, often oxide, the cheapest and worst absorbed, at whatever amount fits a small pill. This uses two better-absorbed forms, glycinate and citrate, at doses that simply don't fit in a tablet or a gummy: you'd need four to five tablets or around twenty gummies to match what's in one serve. That's the reason it's a powder.
Is it safe with my medications, or while pregnant?
That's exactly the right question to ask, and the honest answer is: check with your GP or pharmacist. Every ingredient, form and dose is printed on the label specifically so they can vet it in one glance. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or managing a diagnosed condition, have that conversation before you start.
How much does it work out per night?
The jar is $79.90 for 30 serves, which is $2.66 a night, with a free shaker on your very first order, whatever you order. Subscribers pay $75.90 a jar, or $2.53 a night, with the same first-order shaker offer.
Shipping, and pausing a subscription?
Free shipping applies on orders of $100 or more, Australia-wide, with the estimate shown at checkout. Subscriptions deliver every 30, 45 or 60 days, and pause, skip or cancel any time.
